This page was thrown together in a few minutes to point out the share pure power of the top blogging system in the world. I am a well known SEO expert since 1994. Back in the early days to get a #1 position on the search engine sites of the day, lycos, infoseek, altaviata and a few others, all you had to do was to put your keyword at the bottom of the page a whole lot of times and make it the same color as the page so no one would notice. It was really that easy.

Back than I could within an hour generate thousands of hits an hour to my site for top keywords. Of course back than there as no CB or CJ and no easy to even do online financial transaction so people had to mail us checks to make a purchase and they did. It was more like old time direct mail order marketing with a shortcut in delivery of the sales letter.

Needless to say, SEO has become a far more complex matter that is either expensive or very time consuming to learn all you must know and to do all you must do. There are NO easy solutions to top positions and there is far more competition, even in the micro niches.
